Lead Solutions Architect (Infrastructure/Data Center)

6 month initial contract - Day Rates inside IR35 circa £725

UK based candidates - Mainly remote working with infrequent travel for workshops (London or Leeds)

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect to work on a new Data Centre build facility with our FS Client.

Our Client will be migrating IT services from other Data Centres to centralise into a 2 Data Centre operating model and in this role you will be responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of delivery from programme start up through design (drawings), validation, costings, documentation into delivery and beyond.

You must have very recent experience in new Data Centre builds/Data Centre Migrations within Financial Services, along with other experience which includes:

• Self-sufficient/Self-starter - Able to stand on your own - Knows how to find the right people to talk to (SME's etc.).
• In depth knowledge of Enterprise infrastructure solutions - Mainframe, Midrange, X86, Networks, Storage Platforms, VMWare, Unix, Red Hat.
• Enterprise Data Centre build and migration knowledge (end to end architecture).
• Understanding of Networking (routing/switching, IP, network protocols, http headers, firewalls, WAF).
• Understands the AS IS/TO BE Estate.
• Dynatrace (infrastructure monitoring tool) - Would be useful to have knowledge/understanding of.
