We're working with a multi-national UK bank to recruit a Cloud Security Architect for their Cloud Engineering team. The team are expanding due to a number of key security initiatives surrounding their public cloud environments. They work with each of the three main public cloud platforms, with a particular focus on GCP, and are building a centre of excellence responsible for optimization and running of cloud native security offerings.

The centre of excellence is accountable for identifying and remediating any vulnerabilities, automation of services, development of policy as code, and continuous improvement of Cloud Services.

Flexible working is supported and this role can be worked predominantly remotely, the team value in-person collaboration and team building and meet onsite one day a week in the London office.

Initial contract is for 6 months with the expectation for renewal beyond this on a 6 monthly basis. This is an immediate start (subject to background checks / onboarding process) and interviews will take place within the next week.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar Cloud Security Architecture position with a multi-cloud focus - GCP and Azure experience will be most beneficial for this role
• Hands on experience producing both high and low level cloud security designs and understanding of security-by-design principles
• Knowledge of DevOps and Automation
• Ability to communicate and work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience from Banking / Fin Serv sector will be useful to adapt quickly to the environment, but not essential
