Myles Roberts is supporting a leading, global Bank to recruit a DevOps Engineer who will be working as part of the bank's exciting new multi-year programme. The contract will initially for 6 months but comes with a high extension possibility.

This role is UK based but can be worked from home as the team is supportive of remote working.

What you will be doing

1. You will be closely of working as a part of the Integration team who will be responsible for the enterprise tools, observability, and automation.

The ideal candidate for the role will be reviewing automation stacks and will be frequently involved with Rundeck clusters and will also integrate platforms into AWS.

A key part of this position involves introducing the platform as a service (SaaS / PaaS) and managing the automation of processes

Skills & experience needed

• Extensive experience in AWS with respect to creating and maintenance of cloud services like VPC, DNS, Route53, load balancers, ECR, EKS, S3, EFS, lambda, image builder, Load Balancer, Cloud watch.
• Experience of automating maintenance, patching, and upgrading of Rundeck clusters
• Hands on exposure to automation and configuration of jobs in Rundeck
• Implementation of container systems like Docker and Orchestration in Kubernetes.
• Experience relevant to Ansible and APIs would be beneficial.
